Salon Policies

 

Hello all,

 

First and foremost, thank you to all of our incredibly supportive and loyal clients for keeping us busy and thriving. 

 

Here at Wink, I value the time of all clients and my wonderful stylists alike. 

 

On this note, as stylists, this career is not just a job. It is a livelihood. Unlike many other career paths with more consistency and guarantee, your scheduled salon appointments are their projected income for the day, week, month, etc. The appointment you make for your next color is not simply an “appointment” for them. It is how they guarantee food on the table, a roof over their head, and much more. 

 

We understand that life happens! We know there are situations where plans change, days where things go awry, and sometimes appointments must be rescheduled/cancelled. But out of courteousness for my team and the time they dedicate to being here for you all, I must enforce a policy to ensure their time is always compensated, as it is of value.

 

This being said, as of this upcoming year, we will be implementing the following:

 

As of January 1st, 2022, Wink Salon and Spa will be requiring a credit card on file in order to book any future appointment with any Wink employee (previously booked appointments will not be affected). This means that when booking, we will be taking your card info in order to secure your spot.

 

In the case that you must reschedule/cancel, you must provide at least 24 hour notice. In this instance, we will happily find a time that works better for you. In the case that you must reschedule/cancel with less than 24 hours notice, your card on file will be charged 30% of your scheduled service value. Please note that emergency situations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We will be implementing this policy out of respect for our staff, their time, and their profession.

 

As of the new year, if you do not provide any notice whatsoever and “skip” an appointment (a no-call, no-show), you will be charged 50% of your scheduled service value. In addition, if you no-call, no-show an appointment, moving forward you will be required to keep a card on file AND provide a non-refundable $30 deposit to book any future appointment (for future appointments valued at $30 or more). This deposit will go towards your service. And if you need to reschedule this appointment, the deposit will carry over to that newly scheduled appointment. 

 

We will require a stored credit card in order to book all appointments.

 

If you are running late for your appointment, please call us so that we can inform your stylist! If you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, you may be asked to reschedule. Or, up to your stylist’s discretion, your scheduled service may be modified to fit the reserved appointment time. Please respect your stylist by arriving promptly, as a late arrival can impact their schedule for the entire day. 

 

We do not offer refunds for services rendered. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your service, simply contact us within seven days of service and we will happily reevaluate and “touch up” your hair needs. Our goal is for every client to leave feeling satisfied, happy, and gorgeous!

 

Please note that all policies stated above apply to Wink employees only. Independent stylists/technicians that operate out of Wink have their own policies. If scheduling with an independent artist, please refer to their policies prior to booking. As of January 1st, 2022, by booking an appointment with any Wink employee, you are agreeing to the terms stated above.
